Girls and Robots: The Beginning
2007-2008 is a great time to be in our Design Team Challenge.
We have been working since October to build teams, robots, and ideas.
The year began with a personality inventory. When we took the Smalley personality
test we were either Lions, Otters, Golden Retrievers, or Beavers. We then built groups of
different types of people. We also know how to better communicate with each other.
Through role-play we determined that we need to communicate with Lions differently than
Golden Retrievers.
Through a series of hands-on activities we explored Logic, Problem-Solving, and Repeated Testing of Variables. Dropping the eggs from the band room's second floor was a lot of fun!

Blogging in Science Class
We have gained a lot of information from our trip to the Clinton River Main Branch.
We need a place to post the data and put it together so the people can use it.
This week we will be picking topics and creating informative projects on the
